Torti Taco Bar & Grill offers authentic Mexican food that is made from scratch using fresh veggies, meats, and homemade salsas. All of our dishes are created from special family recipes and range from mild to hot.
Our Restaurant
Torti Taco Bar & Grill is open for dine-in and take-out customers. Our salsa bar features homemade salsas that can be used for any of the items on the menu — with choices such as chipotle salsa, avocado salsa, mango salsa, pineapple salsa and the spicy hot “Torti Sauce.”
The authentic flavors from the salsa bar will keep you coming back for more.

About The Owner
Javier Fortoso is the owner and operator of Torti Taco. He and his family are proud to bring a blending of Cuernavaca, Mexico and San Diego, California to Michigan. Torti Taco opened in February 2016.

How We Got Started
Our journey began with a passion for bringing the authentic flavors of Mexico to downtown Battle Creek. It all started when our founder, Maria Torti, envisioned creating a gathering place where friends, family, and neighbors could come together to enjoy delicious food, handcrafted cocktails, and live entertainment in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
